めく attaches to a noun to mean taking on the quality or appearance of that thing. It conjugates like a godan verb (春めく, 謎めく). The modifying form is めいた. It describes something coming to seem like the noun.
Examples
めいてた。 Youyaku harumeite kita.
It's finally starting to feel like spring.
はめいたをた。 Kare wa nazomeita emi o ukabeta.
He wore a mysterious smile.
