のみならず means not only the first thing but also a second, broader one. Attach it to a plain-form verb/adjective or a bare noun. It is a formal equivalent of だけでなく and often pairs with も in the second clause.

    Kare wa gakusha nominarazu, sugureta kyouikusha de mo aru.

    He is not only a scholar but also an excellent educator.

  • のみなら

    Kokunai nominarazu, kaigai de mo yuumei da.

    He's famous not only domestically but abroad as well.
