it's fine even if; I don't mind if

Adding かまわない (don't mind) to the ても form grants permission or signals indifference, a softer alternative to てもいい. Use it to say an action is acceptable. The plain かまわない is casual; かまいません is polite.

• ここに座すわってもかまいませんか。

  Koko ni suwattemo kamaimasen ka.

  Do you mind if I sit here?

• 明日あすでもかまいません。

  Ashita demo kamaimasen.

  Tomorrow is fine too.
