considering; for (despite expectation)

わりに means the result is unexpected considering the circumstances (cheap for its quality, young for his maturity). Attach it to a plain-form verb/adjective, a noun with の, or a na-adjective with な. It expresses a mismatch between expectation and reality.

• この店みせは安やすいわりに、料理りょうりがおいしい。

  Kono mise wa yasui wari ni, ryouri ga oishii.

  For how cheap it is, this place has tasty food.

• 彼かれは年齢ねんれいのわりに、若わかく見みえる。

  Kare wa nenrei no wari ni, wakaku mieru.

  He looks young for his age.
